More Site Updates

   12 January 2004, early evening

I’m a bit closer to what I want. I’ve moved over to moveable type. There are CSS bugs I will need to fix but that will be done eventually. The index page at will also change slightly as I am unhappy with not displaying the full text of a post on that page. Also, I will eventually display a thumbnail of the current post in my photoblog there, but this isn’t being done yet. Please let me know of any bugs you find, and what you think. Sorry to the 3 of you who read my blog and find it annoying I can’t settle on a place to put it.

  1. The page isn't valid xhtml for example.

  2. I read your blog. Just so you know. I always wonder who reads mine, if anyone, since I don't get many comments.

  3. I'll have to start posting comments when I check yours I guess. Though there is the temptation not to, and not look at the links even, because then it'd be like you sent the me link on ICQ. The good old days.

  4. You son of a bitch....

  5. No. I do go to the sites sometimes. Usually I just go and read what links you posted and what you have to say about them though. The internet is porno, slashdot and metafilter to me. Nothing else.

  6. I feel weird about posting comments on Mez's site. It would always be "That's an interesting link."

  7. Yeah. There is that too. Usually when I post a comment it has nothing to do with the link in question.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google": will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
