Schneier on Security: DHS Enforces Copyright. ⇒

    1 June 2005, mid-afternoon

My feelings exactly.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. I know I’m going to get trashed for saying this, but in some ways, I think you should feel lucky if one of the prominent dangers in your country is theft of copyright material.

  2. I guess that is true. However, I am not sure that is the case in America.

  3. First of all “file sharers” is stretching it a bit. These guys are pirates who basically will ruin the BT experience for everyone.

Still I don’t understand how this falls under the jurisdiction of DHS. Interstate criminal affairs was FBI right?

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google": will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
