Fido Releases High Value Price Plans for Apple iPhone 3G. ⇒

It actually doesn't seem that bad -- as Canadian cell phone plans go.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. Rogers is obviously offering the exact same prices. They also mention ‘unlimited access to Fido and Rogers hotspots’.

  2. Add taxes and you guys are screwed lol..£30 over here lol..and the hotspots, Rogers should probably work on first making sure their home broadband works before pushing out these hotspots…my conclusion, Rogers is complete crap!

  3. How fast would one typically burn through 400mb and 150 daytime minutes?

  4. I don’t think I ever got anywhere near 400 megs a month when I had actual unlimited access for the 4 months after I switched to the 3G value-pack (which doesn’t exist anymore, btw). Mind you, EDGE is pretty slow so half the time I’d just lose the urge to surf.

And yeah, add to the $60 the system access fee, 911 fee, and presumably at least $7 bucks for call display, and then add taxes, and owning an iPhone officially starts to suck.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
