About
I’m just another Persian girl living in an adopted country (Canada). I moved here a long, long time ago with my parents and older brother because my parents got fed up with the government in Iran, and rightly so.
I have two nieces who are both very adorable and lovable.
I’ve lived at Blansdowne since 2007 with my husband Ramanan, the man behind a funkaoshi production and our daughter, Mythilli. Before that, I lived in North York – the greatest suburb in the history of all suburbs – with my parents. I also live in the City of Waterloo for four years where I completed my undergrad degree in Urban Planning at the University of Waterloo. I also have a Master’s degree in Planning from the University of Toronto.
I’ve done Karate for a long time and enjoy it a bit too much. I teach little kids karate at the North York YMCA, where I also practice. My karate friends are the closest things I’ve ever had to an extended family.
I started this blog my second year of undergrad (2003) and have updated it on and off over the years. Sometimes long stretches of time pass without me updating the blog. 2010 has started out with a bang. We’ll see how long I can keeep this going.
