My Husband Broke his Leg

Two days after coming back from our big adventure across Southern India, Ram broke his leg crossing the street at Queen and Bathurst. It’s surreal watching someone you love run over by a car right in front of your eyes. I found that while I was processing everything in slow motion I was also playing all sorts of alternative endings in my head in real time. Maybe that was my way of reassuring myself that it could have been worse.

People, make sure your first aid / CPR training is up to date.

That sucks. I hope he is back to his sexy self in no time. I did first aid/CPR training this week at work. CPR is my specialty.

Hope Ram has a speedy recovery. We miss you at Karate and can’t wait until you come back.

I’m glad Ram is home and on the road to recovery. It was surreal just hearing about it, I can’t imagine what it must’ve been like watching it happen.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
