Riding to Work Year 2

I finally decided to ride my bike to work today. Last year I tried to map out a route that included all sorts of back streets because I hate riding on main roads. That worked alright, except it was a very convoluted way to get to work. So today I decided that I’d take some main roads: St. Helen’s to Lansdowne, Lansdowne to College, College to Spadina, and Spadina to Camden Street where I work. College Street is actually a really great street to ride your bike. The only hesitation I have is the stretch from mid-Little Italy to Lansdowne where the bicycle path ends. But this morning I didn’t find that stretch that busy with traffic and with no on-street parking during rush hour it shouldn’t be a big deal. I forgot how much I like riding my bicycle around! It’s fun.. Well other than the fact that I’m all sweaty by the time I get to work. Too bad we don’t have any shower at work.

Shima, if you’re not in a job that requires you to meet clients, don’t worry about being all sweaty from the bike to work..my colleague sarah rides a bike to work and sits around all sweaty, no one says anything cus she’s the only one saving the environment!

Oh, Ahilan, I wish I was riding my bicycle for a noble cause like saving the environment. I’m just doing it to get back in shape. hah

You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
