There's not enough small east west streets in the City

I’m on a conquest this summer: to find the safest, bicycle friendly route from home to work and back. The only problem is if you want to travel East or West you have to go on major roads and I don’t like riding my bicycle on busy streets. Something like Brock street but going East West. So anyways, I’m left to figure out an intricate route that doesn’t involve too many cars. I think I figured one out though:

Brooke (s) > Florence Street (w) > Dufferine (s) > Waterloo Ave (w) > Gladstone (s) > Argyle Street (w)> Shaw Street (s) > Adelaide (w) > Brant (n) > Camden (w).

There’ll be a little bit of a problem at Adelaide and Bathurst Street. I’ll have to see if there is anyways I can work around it.

You know how some times you become aware of things that before you were oblivious to? Enter traffic lights. I wasn’t oblivious to them, but I never cared too much for them until I started riding my bicycle. You become so much more aware of them! And you realise how important they are when you want to cross a street. City Traffickers, keep those lights coming!

That sucks! I think you just have bad bike-luck! :( Do you have a good lock? I’m so paranoid my bike will get stolen, I check on it every few hours. (while I’m at work!).

I don’t think you were meant to own a bike Matt. I don’t think I know anyone who has lost more bikes than you. You need to buy one of those industrial chains.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
