There are a few labs in MC, though not nearly enough for all the students. Generally you find students from a particular years hanging out in a particular lab. The pink lab is generally considered to be the lab for upper year students, so when I was in third year I would come to the pink lab to find my friends. When all the other labs closed down, it was that much easier to find them.
My favourite lab was the ‘stank’ lab, where I worked on my CS 241 assignments. They shut down and renovated that lab into a PC lab. Fucking sons of mother-fuckers.
