Behind Wooden Bars

Two ladies enjoying dinner at a Chunko Nabe restaurant in Tokyo.

Chunko Nabe is a hot pot dish sumo wrestlers eat in Japan. We went to a Chunko Nabe place the last night we were in Tokyo. The food was amazing. It is a shame you can’t get the stuff here in Toronto. (I suppose it wouldn’t be the same.) This place was run by an ex-sumo wrestler. The guy was there the night we went, and he was gigantic.
