Just the Right Amount

Yoko pours out vinegar for some sushi rice.

Last winter the Japanese club had a 'cooking day' at Michael Quek's house. I can't recall everything that was made, but I do know we made Sushi. Yoko is pictured above measuring out vinegar to add to the sushi rice. I love the way sushi rice smells, especially when there is too much vinegar in it. Yoko was quite good at measuring out the right amount of vinegar to add to the rice. I have a picture of the guys who were visiting from Japan trying to figure out how much vinegar to put in the rice. They didn't have Yoko's confidence.
