An interesting project from Occupy Wallstreet. They are buying up bad debt, and then forgiving it rather than attempting to collect on it.

The results really aren’t very surprising.

I’m curious to see how the new web profiles for Instagram effect how people use the service, if at all. My stream is public, but it certainly felt private, seeing as how I only have a hundred or so followers. Here’s a picture of my baby.

I find it a bit hard to get worked up about stuff like this. The factory was here first, probably by a good 40 years at least when it comes to most of the residents I bet are complaining. That said, i’m always surprised to see factories operating in the city.

Esthero’s new album came out yesterday. I have mixed feelings about it so far, but i’ve only listened to in through once. I keep wanting her to make a trip-hop inspired album like her first, but I think she’s moved past all that. The opening track is stellar. She doesn’t put out albums very often, so you should probably check it out. (This comment at the end of a post about her last album foreshadows the delay.) Esthero is amazing and one of my favourite performers.
