Another source for voting information -- if you hate the Tories. Vote!

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. This site was set up by some Liberal dude. It’s totally biased toward Liberal candidates. Check my riding: If everyone who votes Green and NDP votes for the Liberal candidate the Liberal will get elected. Or another riding where the latest polls show a close race between the Liberal and the Green with Conservatives a distant third. They base their polling data on 2006 and claim the Conservatives have a chance so vote Liberal.

I can see people voting strategically but this site is complete BS.

  2. Isn’t that the whole point of the site though? They are pretty upfront about how they tell you to vote. Their complete list of swing ridings is online. Most of the swing ridings have a Liberal as the suggested vote, but they do suggest you vote for the NDP, Green, or Bloc where appropriate. They also tell you to vote for who you like in ridings that are safe: whether they are Tory, Liberal, NDP, or Bloc. They also explain how they decide what ridings are swing ridings.

I’m not so sure the site is complete BS.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
