  2. It’s by invite from Tom Coates, the guy that runs it only. I got invited because he asked people that read his web site to write him if they wanted to join, and if they worked in the computer industry. One of the help threads mentions a person you can email if you would like to join the site. I've just been lurking there so far; my first impression is that everyone is a bit too verbose for my liking.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
