  1. I keep meaning to get one. If you use medium format film, you pretty much have to get a flatbed. People seem pretty happy with the Epsons: 4490, V500, V700, V750 (in order of price), especially with a negative mount from betterscanning.com.

    Pete got a V500 recently. I should ask him how it’s working out.

  2. Yeah, I was thinking of grabbing a V500, since it wasn’t too much money. Really, most anything will probably be better than the scans I get back from Shoppers.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
