How much does Israel really care what the world thinks of what they do? They generally act without impunity when it comes to dealing with Hamas, Hezbollah, etc. I read today that the UN estimates 1 in 4 people killed thus far is a civilian, and that they've killed 500 people thus far. I'm not sure how much you can spin figures like that. This link was found via MetaFilter.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
