  1. Yeah, it’s a shame. I like John Tory, and he’s certainly a welcome change from the Harris and Eves administrations. But it sure doesn’t seem like he’s had a lot of luck politically, and from reading the story, it seems like he’s coming to acknowledge that he might not be what the voters want.

    At any rate, I do feel for him. Tory’s the man I point to whenever people try to paint all Conservatives with the same brush.

  2. It’s too bad. The Star has an editorial on why his loss doesn’t bode well for us in the future (link).

    I’m sure he’s got a warm seat waiting for him at Rogers, but I hope he gives it up in a few years to take another run at David Miller.
