They have been out on parliament hill for the last 15 days. "The Canadian government, which listed the LTTE as a banned terrorist organization in April 2006, has refused to meet with the protestors to hear their proposals."

  1. I understand Jack Layton met with them after they agreed to stop displaying the LTTE flag.

    The bullets and machine guns on the flag are a bit much, I must say.

  2. Yeah, I don’t know how people could have thought that was a good idea. It’s also a bit disappointing people are still in love with the LTTE.

    (Though, I have to say, I love that flag. These para-military groups always have the best flags. Also awesome is the MEK flag, with its communist overtones.)
