  1. I think all public transit should just have inward facing seats. Front and backwards facing seats waste so much space when you can fit a ton more people into the streetcar when you have the seats face inwards.

    Also, the image they used seems to show a streetcar way longer than we would use. I guess short streetcars don’t look good in pictures.

  2. I very much doubt streetcar service will improve downtown unless if they subordinate car traffic to them.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
