  1. Beg to differ. For me it was the Matrix.

  2. Oh, I was being sarcastic. My hope is that if I keep saying the movie is going to be good, at the very least it won’t suck.

  3. But tell me this: is there any surer bet than this particular movie? I mean regardless of how much it sucks, how bad people think the last two installments were, this edition will succeed. It will smash opening records, could be the highest grossing ever. I mean it doesn’t matter…at this point Lucas can pretty much release anything and it will be big.

I have high expectations though. Hayden looks pretty good, Obi wan was always interesting and of course padme. Also the pg 13 rating means more light saber action than previous (and hopefully none of that rolling down the hill simulated love scenes). But still…

    Resist the temptation, we must.

  4. So when are you starting the Episode III thread! Just saw the first screening in Adelaide (well the first morning one..I am not that crazy to go to the midnight one).

Initial feelings: well give Lucas 6 years and maybe, just maybe he can deliver moments worth watching. Too bad they were few and far in between.

  5. It was fucking amazing. God damn. I just got back from the midnight premiere. Lucas managed to redeem himself.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
