  1. Shit yeah, boy! Time to bust out those Tatepons again!

  2. Hype. That game is so awesome. I bought the PSP so I could play Crisis Core and Metal Gear Solid, but both games are pretty lame when compared to Patapon.

  3. I can’t wait to see the PSP refresh. People are expecting a crazy new redesign.

  4. Was it MGS Portable Ops you were into, Ram? How was it?

There’s all sorts of Sony rumours going on – new PSP Go!, redesigned PS3… If they price drop the PS3 I’ll get one fer sure.

A UMD-less PSP would lead to all new games released digitally, which would be really nice. EB Games is a cruel place, where thieves and pimps run free.

  5. Yep, it was MSG Portable Ops was the one I was having a hard time tracking down. The game is fun, but I find the controls really annoying. It took me a long while to get a little bit good at the game. Also, compared to other MGS games, the AI is really stupid.

Digital games would be nice, though all these dudes seem so against that sort of thing.

Of the games I own, I like Patapon the best — by far.

  6. This game is looking hype. I think at the end of the day, the DS is the better system by far. And when did they make a new DS? How do I miss all this crazy video game news.

  7. I love Atlus. They are one of the best things going for the DS. “Hermit” as a character class is awesome. Plus their mascot freaks me right the fuck out. He’s a snowman with fangs…?

I agree, I love my DS and it’s the superior system in almost every regard. But I’m happy to have a PSP, too.

This hardware war thing is insane, really. Imagine you had to buy a Paramount DVD player that only played Paramount movies, or a Universal one that only played Universal movies. No one would stand for it.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
