The Cosina 35mm f/1.2 is about $900, and the 50mm f/0.95 Leica Noctilux is something like $10,000, so yeah, it’ll probably be somewhere in between. I’m thinking it’ll be closer to the other Cosina lens in price. I think the MSRP is 130,000 yen.

Damn, and here I wasted a perfectly good $120 on the Canon 50mm f/1.4.

Look up the price of the 50mm f/1.2L and this doesn’t seem that unreasonable anymore. That extra stop is expensive. (That said, if you got the 50mm f/1.4 USM for $120, that's a deal and a half.)
