A painting of me

Time’s up, TTC. ⇒

No one bitches out the TTC as well as Joe Clark.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. As usual, his writing style turns me right off.

Also, only Joe Clark can talk paragraphs about one Metropass sticker, in which seriously has no real problems in the first place.

  2. He’s a skilled writer, but he uses it for evil instead of good most of the time. I don’t mean the subjects he chooses – he comes across as an antagonizing troll on the best of days, and I’m sad to say as a crazy person in this particular tirade. Sad because it is indeed a worthwhile issue. The TTC has a great design legacy that they seem to be unaware of, and their communications too leaves much to be desired.

There are many challenges to writing about something you’re passionate about.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
