I don’t get this outrage at GS. What did people think would happen to the bailout money? Sure as hell wasn’t going to be divided equally amongst the populace.
Like throwing a goat in the lions den and getting mad at them for not sharing. This is the reason they exist!

I don’t think this is new rage so much as it’s more of the same rage. I think people were well aware that the money these banks were getting was one giant scam. I mean, there were complaints about the bailouts from both the Right and the Left. I think it’s more anger over how little power people have with respect to things like this. His article in Rolling Stone was really great. If you haven’t read it you should check it out.
