Some thoughts on the Wednesday Apple iPod Event. ⇒

I'm not sure I agree with his predicted line-up. I don't think Apple will continue to sell an 8gb Touch, especially at the price Marco predicts. That seems out of place. (I also can't imagine them selling 4 different iPod touches.) I think we'll still have 2 versions of the nano, and 3 versions of the touch, with prices staying more or less the same, while features and storage space improve. This seems more in line with how Apple operates. (Marco explains how he decided on his predictions.)

  1. I was close. They kept the 8gb touch and lowered the price. The other two models are bigger, and have the same processor as the iPhone 3GS. They kept two versions of the nano, which they crammed a shit load of features into.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
