I'm going to have to go with "yes." Sadly, I fear Canadians do as well. "And one could argue our political system, clogged as it is, is 'designed' better than, say, the Italian system." Buddy, don't set the bar too high. (And really, if the recent health care 'debate' taking place down South is any indication, this is probably not true.)

  1. I think I might pass on reading this article for the moment. I just started reading “Steppenwolf” this morning – a few weeks after finally getting around to “The Catcher in the Rye,” as you know – and I’m very conscious of the fact that I could easily slip into a constant beret-wearing state of dismissing mediocrity. I don’t want to be that guy, man.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
