The PS3 needs more RPGs. It has a few good arcade games, but not a lot of strong platform specific titles. So far the only two that come to mind are MGS4 and little big planet.
I am still waiting for a good RPG to appear. In the interim I will be getting Modern Warfare 2 which should be awesome.

I agree. To be honest, both PS3 and Xbox 360 are weak on platform exclusives, which is generally a good thing as it means more games are cross platform.
The good exclusives for PS3, in my mind, are the two you mentioned, plus Killzone 2, Uncharted 1 & 2, Ratchet & Clank Future, plus I hear Infamous is pretty sweet.
If you’re into sRPGs, there’s Valkyria Chronicles. And… well I hesitate to recommend Demon’s Souls, unless you can stand punishing difficulty (but if you can, it’s super-awesome). There’s also non-exclusives like Fallout 3, Oblivion & the upcoming Dragon Age, but those are western RPGs, may not be your thing. There are maybe others I don’t know about? I’m new to PS3 land…

I found Comet Crash for the PS3 lots of fun. It’s a tower defense though.
