I haven't had time to verify these facts, but it does cast a new light on that infamous law suit. This link was found via Slashdot.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. If these facts are true, why does McDonald’s insist on keeping its coffee so hot?

    Oh wait, I know why!

According to the National Coffee Association of USA,
“Brewed coffee begins to lose its optimal taste moments after brewing so only brew as much coffee as will be consumed immediately. If it will be a few minutes before it will be served, the temperature should be maintained at 180 – 185 degrees Fahrenheit.”

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
