Obama looks to be pulling an LBJ, and has decided the only way to help the Afghan people at this point is to blow more of them up with regular soldiers, in addition to robot planes. I suspect the secret prisons the US is operating over there aren’t doing the cause any favours. At this point, I would call it his cause. This is Obama’s Freedom Agenda. He is the new war president.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text.
