YouTube: Content-Aware Fill Sneak Peek. ⇒

   25 March 2010, late morning

If you haven’t seen the magic that is Photoshop’s Content-Aware Fill, where have you been? This looks to be based on work presented at SIGGRAPH last year.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. Simon linked me to an article saying that Gimp had a plugin for the exact same feature awhile now.

  2. man oh man, that is pretty slick. the last example with the panorama! i have so many unfinished panorama’s dating back to when i used to live in the UAE that would be a snap to clean up with that tool.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
