I like the web design. The photographs are a bit uninspired. Every single photo looks to be shot at f/1.2 or something. They make me feel like my eyes are going bad.

  1. I see this a lot with (hobby) food photography. Most people come by it from the food enthusiast side, not the photography side, so there’s a lot of stuff like this (for example, depth of field games, or buying expensive cameras to “take better pictures”, or super-zomg macro). Hobby food writing is similar, there’s a lot of enthusiasm or even knowledge, but the writing part just isn’t there.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
