What the what? This was one of my two reasons you might want to buy a PC. The other is to play video games, and I suspect that will be less of a reason in coming years.

  2. Agreed. Although, in University I could emulate AutoCAD in Windows faster than the average PC… on my G3.

  3. That’s true. It’s actually crazy what you can do with virtualization now. I run Unbuntu Linux under Windows in vmware at work, and I think the VM runs better than Windows.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
