A painting of me

Ruby FAQ. ⇒

How long have I been saying I plan to teach myself Ruby? This link was found via Sencer.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. Go! Do it now! So am I. I admit the thing that finally tipped me over was this post on the textdrive weblog:
    http://weblog.textdrive.com/article/115/a-funny-thing-happened
    – For starting out this is actually a bit too verbose, but sort of funny:
    http://www.poignantguide.net/ruby/
    – This is a regular introduction. Apparently it covers an older version of Ruby, but it’s still a good guide for getting to know it.

    It’s fun, too. :)

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
