A painting of me

Wherein I try to explain why Google Reader is the best social network created so far ⇒

If you haven’t heard, Google is removing all the social features from Google Reader and instead integrating Google Reader with Google+. That’s certainly one way to force adoption of the new service.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. i suspect this is going to be super annoying. love gReader as is!

  2. There is a big thread about this on MetaFilter now. I never used any of the social features in Google Reader, but everyone I know who does really loves them.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
