Wall Street Isn't Winning It's Cheating. ⇒

28 October 2011, late at night

It’s so obnoxious when people say the protesters are just sore losers who are jealous of these smart guys in suits who beat them at the game of life. This isn’t disappointment at having lost. It’s anger because those other guys didn’t really win. And people now want the score overturned.

A must-read piece on the Occupy Wallstreet movement by Matt Taibbi.

  1. Maclean’s has another must read with a Canadian perspective. We haven’t seen the same inequalities and bail outs. It’s a different situation, but we are so influenced by American news, people don’t think to question the situation.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
