  3. My cousin and his wife are commercial airline pilots. I think I’d have found this fucking terrifying anyway. How on earth can you have a control system that has two independent control stocks but no visual feedback as to what either one is doing??

  5. Yeah, this is a giant interface design fail. I don’t understand why you would want two control sticks whose input is averaged out either. When would that make sense?

  6. Bob, I want to go higher but not TOO high. How about I try to point us straight up and you just keep adjusting downward until we are climbing the right amount.

    It just doesn’t make sense. But I’m not a pilot.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text.
