I honestly didn’t expect Karen Stintz to become such a bad-ass supporter of public transit. Ford really shouldn’t have pissed her off. Of note: replacing the LRT with a subway, finally connecting the Yonge-University line at Sheppard, and building two express lines to Union. The later seems like something the city really needs, since the Go is such a piece of shit.

  1. but maybe that’s the one good thing about Ford…the pissing match with Stintz is now raising expectation. there HAS to be transit now…

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
