A painting of me

Netbot is a App.net client from the people that make Tweetbot. ⇒

For those who haven’t been paying attention, App.net is an alternative to Twitter that charges money to do what Twitter does. A lot of developers are moving over to App.net because Twitter has been acting kind of obnoxious recently. I was thinking about joining, but those first couple years of quiet Twitter were really boring.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. Yeah, I’m thinking about it too for some reason. Still a little pricey for something that seems likely to fail, but I guess I’ve spent money on the Toronto Maple Leafs so I shouldn’t think too hard about that.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
