  1. My NY driver’s license says “TEMP. VISITOR” (along with the date that my last visa expired, in 2012) in red caps. Doesn’t seem much different from having “LIMITED TERM” printed on a NC driver’s license.

    (I wonder whether I’d get detained if an official checked my driver’s license and noticed that it refers to an expired temporary stay, at a time that I didn’t have me renewed visa with me.)

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
