  2. I think Gruber is right, it is too early to say one way or another what Apple plans to do with the system. I also think using the platform as the equivalent of a hardware dongle is reasonable, as you can see the entire macintosh line as essentially a hardware dongle for Mac OS.

    That said, I also would be less inclined to buy a computer with all this trusted computing crap on the mother board. At this point in time I don’t think I would.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
