According to the article, it supports both MP3 and ATRAC3plus formats.

I have to agree with Dave on this one. I like the fact that the display is seamless, but on the whole it’s pretty ugly.

I wish the buttons weren’t sunk into the unit. The thing looks cool, like it is out of an anime.

at work we tossed around the idea of a similar unit with the buttons seamless as well, like maybe implemented by a touch-display. That’d allow for context-sensitivity too…save on UI space.
Ram: I think it looks better that way. From the pictures (admittedly not much to go on) it doesn’t look like they’re so sunk in as to provide no tactile feedback as to whether or not you’re pushing the right (or any) button.
