My site shows up higher for search results in regular Google than it does in the search results for this new Google Blog Search. That seems backwards. It must suck to search for Bukkake and end up at my site. This link was found via Waxy.org.

  1. Try using this tool. If you search for So Long Technoratti, which is a phrase I’ve read twice now when i’ve seen links to this new search tool, you end up with a whole lot of nothing. If you do the same search in Google, you get plenty of hits, many of which are from weblogs. I think Technoratti’s demise, predicted by some, is a bit too early. (Not that I don’t expect things to get better.)

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
