  2. Speaking of the Daily Show, I was just trying to find the clip but I can’t: two nights ago, they showed Sen. Coburn from Oklahoma giving this really emotional fluffy crap monologue at the Roberts hearing. He choked up as he described how much it hurts him for America to be so divided. And then Jon Stewart gave these two great quotes from 2004 when Tom Coburn was blaming things on homosexuals (oh here it is, they are the greatest threat to American freedom) and some other group. But the kicker was that at the end, they showed Coburn from earlier in the day, sitting at the hearing doing a crossword puzzle. That part was real.

    What was fake was that they showed a close-up where you could see that the words he’d filled in were, “TOM COBURN IS A PHONY.”

    I love that show.
