A painting of me

LibraryThing: Catalog your books online. ⇒

Another tool for organizing your book collection. I was going to write something like this. I still might, since this one is as ugly as the others. This link was found via Metafilter.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. Hey, tell me what you don’t like about LibraryThing. I’m intruiged. It’s gotten a lot of rave reviews but, of course, I’m not satisfied. What do you suggest?

  2. I was actually just going to update this post saying I was too hard on your site. The only thing I don’t like right now is the layout. I think you’ve done a good job with everything else. I especially like how fuzzy you can be when filling in the details for a book you own. Letting the application figure out what book you are actually talking about is a nice touch.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
