I like this idea, though I am not sure it will work. The reason people keep having babies till they have a boy in India is because many important Hindu rituals require you have a male child. (Well there are probably lots of reasons, this would be the religious one.)

  1. Also, you have to pay a big dowry out when your daughters get married.

    And when parents get older I think they feel it will be easier to stay with their sons than their daughters.

    And sons probably make way more money than daughters.

    And daughters have weak, girly arms so they can’t play cricket right.

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
