Links to some stories from Mezan's favourite magazine, Atlantic Monthly, on Pakistan and its nuclear program.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. I’m also a fan of mid to late 90’s Wired.

  2. Some observations:

Do they talk about Khan’s Dutch wife? Anything on his cloak and dagger mission to the Netherlands where he allegedly stole designs of centrifuge tubes?

There used to be a joke that was making the circles (in India that is) in 1998 after India and Pakistan tested nuclear devices.

“Why did it take Pakistan more than a week to respond with a nuclear test?”

“Because the manuals were in Chinese / Korean.”

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
