A painting of me

The New Yorker: Graphic novels come of age. ⇒

   13 October 2005, early afternoon

I've read several of the comics mentioned. I would agree that Jimmy Corrigan is really good, though I am not sure it is the greatest graphic novel of all time. I don't think the author is qualified to make that claim. Something tells me he hasn't read the Watchmen. This link was found via kottke.org.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. I still believe that the Sandman graphic novels contain the best story I’ve ever read.

Though I do love The Watchmen.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
