People. Don't pay for MP3s. That's just stupid. This link was found via iPodLounge.

The only good thing that I see with Real’s music store it that it sells it’s stuff as 192 kbps encoded AAC’s.

Paying anything for these DRM’d files though seems foolish to me. Your point is valid though, but why not pay for the CD. At least with Real’s current sale the MP3s are cheap. I think digital music should cost something like 10 cents a song. Then I’d start paying for it.

Exactly. Anyone read the comments on the blog? They are funny. Also, for all Real has to say about freedom of choice, their software is all windows only. Brilliant move there too.

Isn’t it true that most iPod users are Windows users? So it makes sense to me that they would concentrate where there is more potential customers. Of course its not sound strategy, but who can blame them.
I am not keen on anykind of DRM, but that seems the only way we will have any sort of digital content available on the web.
