20 GOTO 10. ⇒

This is a seriously geeky site. (I used DOS for a very long time. The last version I ran was 6.02 if I recall correctly. I stopped using DOS when Windows 95 came out, and it became clear to me that sticking around on the PC was a bad idea.)
This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.
How amusing!
I still go to dos to change file extensions on certain downloads. Windows tries to be too friendly sometimes and if you ad .yyy to something, it will add it before the extension. (Sometimes it will change the extension however.) Anyhow, I’m sure there is a way to change it in windows, but I just shell to dos and do it the old fashioned way. =)
I still remember when I first learned the /pause command, that really made it so much easier. Then I loved some a shell program, I think it was PCShell, or Nortonshell or some such. It was a lot better then Dosshell. Windows was crap at the time as 286’s and 386’s were just too slow, and windows ate up so much of the memory.
HIGHMEM=FTW! =p
