Hivelogic: Building Ruby, Rails, LightTPD, and MySQL on Tiger. ⇒

14 December 2005, the wee hours

I finally got around to installing Ruby on my system. I think I will work on the greatest web application mankind has ever seen starting sometime tomorrow or later this week.

This is a post from my link log: If you click the title of this post you will be taken the web page I am discussing.

  1. I think I will work on the greatest web application mankind has ever seen starting sometime tomorrow or later this week.

    Don’t tell me its a CMS. ;)

  2. If I made a CMS, that certainly would remove it from the running of greatest web application mankind has ever seen. I’m actually not sure what I’ll make.

  3. I was curious about Ruby when it first started getting used by never got around to trying it out.

Let me know how it turns out as a language.

Don't be shy, you can comment too!

Some things to keep in mind: You can style comments using Textile. In particular, *text* will get turned into text and _text_ will get turned into text. You can post a link using the command "linktext":link, so something like "google":http://www.google.com will get turned in to google. I may erase off-topic comments, or edit poorly formatted comments; I do this very rarely.
