Pentax's digital SLR is pretty damn small.

I had never heard of this camera and was not exactly drawn to the brand, but I think the review is really good and kind of makes me want to try one.
But really, I guess I am satisfied with my 20D. Haha. Okay, very satisfied. I’ve taken over 7000 pictures in the last year. Some of them were even good. Still dying for the Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens, though.

How’s the viewfinder in the 20D (sweet camera) though? I hear that’s where most dslr’s fall down when compared with their older film brethren.
As for me, I’m too poor right now to afford either, but I’ve always had a thing for alot of the Pentax camera stylings

Well, the problem is that I never used normal SLR cameras. My 20D was my first foray into any sort of SLR photography. Though I’ve never noticed a single complaint I have about the viewfinder. Maybe if I used a film SLR I’d be like, whoa huge difference! But I can’t say. All I can say is that I’d sell my mother to pirates before I’d give up my baby- err, camera.

oh btw, I did a bit more research on the *istD and learned something pretty deal breakingly sucky about the line..
Unlike every other DSLR, The camera doesn’t use a Rechargable lithium battery. It uses either 2 non-rechargable lithiums that cost like 10$ or so I hear (Pentax recommends against using rechargables) .. or you can use AA’s which may be good in a pinch but are pathetic for full time use on a DSLR.
